Johannes specializes in advising clients with respect to M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations. He has broad experience in complex cross-border work, in particular in transaction related projects. Johannes also advises on an on-going basis on contentious and non-contentious corporate law matters including management and shareholder disputes.

Johannes studied law at the University of Cologne. After completing his first state examination, he did his doctorate on an international private law subject at the Institute of Private International Law of the University of Cologne (Prof. Dr. Mansel). At the same time, in 2007, he worked as a research associate for Freshfields. Also during his legal traineeship Johannes worked at major international and German law firms in the fields of corporate law/M&A. Prior to joining Andersen in Germany, Johannes was with the renowned German law firm Luther.
